Is Verge the Stealth Underdog in the World of Anonymous Cryptocurrencies?

What is Verge?

In this write-up, we return to privacy-based cryptocurrencies. Today’s chosen cryptocurrency is Verge (XVG). Originally named Dogecoindark after splitting from the Dogecoin blockchain in 2014, Dogecoindark rebranded to what we now know as Verge in early 2016.

Its primary function is to serve as an anonymous cryptocurrency for darknet and mainstream usage, while being able to conduct fast and secure transactions peer-to-peer.

The Competitive Edge: Wraith Protocol, Atomic Swaps, and Privacy

Verge has integrated its wallets with the Tor network, making the cryptocurrency immune to any form of surveillance or overseeing.

Tor (the Onion router) is a network that enables an anonymous exchange of information across a multi-layered network.

The Tor network sends its Internet traffic through a network of over 7,000 relays to conceal a user’s information and location with anonymized data packets and encrypted address information.

Users can also choose to use the I2P network, which has many similarities to Tor.

Verge is also a multi-PoW algorithm cryptocurrency, making it fully mineable with a range of different mining equipment. This enables the network to benefit from more hashing power, which  creates a greater level of security for the Verge blockchain and its users overall.

Its block time is 30 seconds, compared to Bitcoin’s 10 minutes. This makes Verge much faster to use, with the added privacy options of stealth transactions, Tor, and I2P as well.

Another competitive feature on the Verge network is atomic swapping. This allows for the direct transfer of cryptocurrencies from one blockchain to another, such as Bitcoin to Litecoin or Vertcoin to Verge.

The Wraith protocol enables full privacy of transactions and any address information of the sender and receiver. This new feature is capable of being used via the Tor, I2P, or standard Internet networks.

Competitors to Verge in the Privacy Niche

Privacy is popular in the cryptocurrency space. With regulations and the U.S. Government declaring ALL cryptocurrency transactions taxable, 2018 could truly be the year of privacy-based coins.

Verge faces heavy opposition to become the leading privacy-based coin, but competition in a free market usually breeds innovative and advanced products, solutions, and services. Here are some of the top competitors Verge could steal the privacy dominance from:

Monero – Using the ring signature, it was a popular cryptocurrency on Alpha Bay before it closed.

Dash – While Dash has somewhat left the privacy niche, it still has the PrivateSend feature, which mixes addresses.

Zcash – Utilizing the Zero Coin protocol and ZK-Snarks, this protocol enables transactions to remain encrypted but still be valid on the network.

Zcoin – This is the precursor to Zcash, which also uses the Zero Coin protocol.

There are many more, but Verge has a strong community, and with the Wraith protocol in development, combined with the coming atomic swaps that allow cross-chain transactions, this could be the most exciting year for Verge yet.

Price Performance

Another big performer, Verge started 2017 at a fraction of a cent and had an all-time high in late December 2017 of $0.24. Despite its pullback, it has remained strong during the January 2018 correction.

Patience & The Investors Mentality

Patience & The Investors Mentality

For most of us we don’t know where we will be in ten – twenty years time, so we tend not to think about it.

In a world where there is now ‘too much choice’ how does one know what to choose or how to apply oneself?

Why do we get consumed by present distractions like Football, Reality TV etc when we could be applying that energy to something more constructive and relative to our needs…

This is an especially difficult subject & choice for the millennial generation (I myself being one of them), how do we choose our paths and define ourselves whilst staying in a solid direction for the long term…

The answer is to have Patience & The Investors Mentality!

Now for the majority of us millennials patience isn’t exactly our strongest suit, in fact we are extremely instant like babies.. We want everything NOW, minus the hard work and humility it takes to get it.

We see celebrities living the glamorous life, we argue over sports teams (which have made their WEALTH already) and we understandably want that quality of life.. who doesn’t?

There is no patience and that is where the problem lies, everyone expects it to all happen instantly and usually life doesn’t work like that.

By taking an investors mentality on-board you start to see things for the long term rather than being short sighted and expecting instant gratification.

So what am I talking about, it probably sounds like I’m giving millennials a hard time..

I mean if you understand what an investor actually is then you begin to start understanding things in a more larger perspective.

A real investor doesn’t just trade stocks on Forex or on the FTSE100, no, an investor is someone who postpones present pleasure for future payouts!

Now does it make more sense?

By applying the investor mentality you will Postpone Present Pleasure For Future Payouts.

So how do we apply this and execute this, Loose the consumer mentality! a study was done in the United States that the average person saves $2 for every $100 they earn!

Well start with your mindset on how you view your own decisions, for example if you want to learn something new but have to pay $1000 for the course, look at it as a investment in your own career, in yourself..

How will this benefit you in the long run? Will it help you get that job with the big salary?

It’s all about the bigger picture basically, try not to look at whether it will give instant amazing results but if it is going to help you retire earlier.

Down below is a video by a guy called Tai, you probably seen him before he talks about it too watch it from 4.30 to hear about the investor mentality information, I probably do my own video about this stuff in the coming weeks! So watch out for that!

Motivation To Eat Well?

I Need Motivation To Eat Well!

Hey guys, it’s been awhile since I last put up a blog on here so I thought I owe it to you all to keep the momentum going!

I found a great blog that has FAST, HEALTHY, FILLING meals check it out >> www.awesomehealthyrecipes.com or carry on reading to know more about the story!

Recently I got lazy with my eating habits, I lacked the motivation to eat well so nothing major or serious but a few BAD HABITS started creeping in!

Most of what I eat would be processed foods to fit around being busy and not being focused enough to simply put together real, quality foods.

I felt bloated and sluggish like my core strength was loosing density and becoming soft and weak, I knew a few things had to be refined!

To help keep my protein levels high but feel satisfied after eating (I have a fast metabolism so I eat loads!) I cooked plenty of fish and chicken, reserving the heavier meats like beef, goat, pork etc to once a week, but I still made sure I had more than enough meat in my diet as I love meat!

I decided to do some research and learn some recipes myself, quick healthy ones so I wont be spending hours cooking!

It dawned on me that I had indeed lost my motivation to eat well and needed to refine my bad habits into good ones.

Suddenly I came across a sort of blog with ways to cook really tasty meals and even some dieting programs too…

There was a wide variety of different meals and even some suggestions for vegetarians!

It really helped me and I now make sure I eat more filling yet healthier foods, I really like the healthy dinner recipes!

The site is still adding new recipes and is looking like a great source of information for people who want to eat delicious, filling food but in a healthy and time friendly way.

Check it out here and learn some new recipes! http://awesomehealthyrecipes.com/

Motivational Techniques

Motivational Techniques & Ways To Take Action

We all want to take action, but sometimes it can be easier said than done, here are some quick nuggets to help you get started…

1. Surround Yourself With People Who Are Already Doing What You Dream To Do!

It can really be easy to slip into a comfort zone and having a bit of healthy competition can really help us put in that extra 10%.

Also having someone around you who is better than you in that particular field or further ahead will give you a higher (but more productive) target to achieve…

For example if you aim to bench 150kg and your training partner is world record holder of the bench press chances are whatever the hell that person is doing it sure as hell works!

It makes sense to at least listen and take heed – sub consciously we naturally perform better when the bar or the level of intensity is raised!

2. Understand The Value Of Time!

Time seems to go faster the older you get, time isn’t something to be taken for granted – it is the most valuable thing we have/haven’t got.

We cannot control time but as Einstein said “everyone has 24 hours in a day & 7 days in a week” it’s all about what you do in that time which makes the difference!

Time also governs the value of our income! No I don’t mean inflation I mean in terms of how much we earn, let me explain…

You earn $100 a hour that is pretty good! Well done!

BUT

If you earn $100 in a month that is not so good, what governs the value or gives the wage it’s desirability (or lack of)?

TIME!!!

The more you earn in a shorter space of time means a bigger paycheck, the more productive and constructive things you get done in a certain amount of time means a bigger yield for getting things done!

Waking up a hour or even half an hour earlier helps, organising your day and being strict with your time is a great start.

Protect your time and don’t let people waste your time, be sure to treat your time with respect and value, watch out for time wasters who will deliberately drain, waste and stall your time with pointless ventures and activities.

3. Get A Small White Board & Write A Little To-Do List Before You Go Bed!

Really easy simple task you can do to keep on-top of the little things that need doing, go and buy a small whiteboard get a pen and every evening before going to bed just put a little list of things you need to get done within the next 24 hours.

It could be anything!

This helps you stay focused and not forget those annoying little chores plus it is a great feeling knowing that you’ve been productive and got all the crap out the way, from there on you can relax and enjoy your day!

4. Don’t burn out, Rest & Treat Yourself!

Probably the most important… You got to know when to just take a rest, don’t be afraid to treat yourself once in a blue moon!

We all deserve to have some time to recharge and by just sitting back and reflecting we can understand things more.

Sounds crazy but in some cases going away and having a quick nap can help reset the brain and help your concentration levels boost, although that isn’t advisable in a lot of situations but the logic makes sense.

So feel free to give yourself a well earned break!

Motivational Theories

Motivational Theories

Hey guys, I made a short video today about motivation CLICK HERE TO SEE IT, I feel I need to explain and pick apart the subject of ‘motivation’ a bit more, so I did some very efficient thinking in motivational theories…

I was thinking if so many people want to become motivated, or need to know how to apply their motivation (eagerness, desperation, energy etc) they need to be able to identify the demands or needs as a source of energy for their motivation.

Have You Ever Been Asked To Draw An Emotion?

This lead me to think how would one describe motivation, or better yet how would we draw it?

Would we describe or draw it to reflect our demands, or needs to satisfy the goals we seek to achieve, or fill the void that is essentially made up of our satisfaction.

Or is it just simply a term we use to describe neediness and emotional satisfaction.

From my research I say motivation is simply made up of three steps, lets cover it in more detail…

Needs

People will always need something, fortunately we all have different needs which balances things out, you may have something I value and need while in return I may have something you value and need.

This means we have to try to understand each others needs and who needs what in order to boost productivity in any aspect of our society.

Having a need can be a trigger for a motivational flashpoint, as the need is the pretext to the behavior required to make change.

Whether in a positive or negative manner.

The need can be anything, the motivational flashpoint is what bridges the need with the behavior and governs how the behavior will be based on the flashpoint.

Example: If somebody Needs to learn a particular method of solving a mathematic equation they could either;

  • Fall asleep and procrastinate.
  • Realize that in order to solve the equation they have to take action (motivate themselves) to think and educate themselves to be able to follow the necessary steps to completion.
  • Take action but apply it in the wrong way, using the wrong type of learning methods or rather not think logically, therefore fucking up the equation.

Basically the Need is what triggers the thought process, the motivational flashpoint I talk about is what governs a good foundation for logical behavior.

Behavior

The behavior is based again on the needs of the person, the behavior is factored by many things, as Maslow’s theory states:

  • self-actualization,
  • esteem,
  • safety,
  • physiological.

Our behavior and characters determine how motivated we can get and how well we can stick to the good habits we might try to develop or maintain.

The motivational flashpoints help to guide and focus the right type of motivation for the right results.

Satisfaction

The biggest motivator of all, but often the hardest to obtain, you have made and achievement, you have seen the proof, you know you can do it.

The satisfaction creates a sense of well-being that in turns gives the confidence and esteem to do more, to go that extra round!

It creates a mental bar to live by and creates powerful emotions like inspiration, happiness and motivation is a product of inspiration after all.

This is why one of my motivational flashpoints is actually envision it or see it, imagine yourself where you want to be… Replicate that feeling of satisfaction to help you condition (in a positive manner) what it will be like when you reach the objective you have set.

How To Get Motivated

How To Get Motivated

People often say ‘ I need to know How To Get Motivated’ The best question to ask yourself is What’s YOUR motivation? What do I get out of all this?

Definition Of Motivationhow to get motivated

Motivation, what is it?, where does it come from? From my own research motivation is a product of good habits, mental disciplining & personal strength.

It is surely something to take seriously because it’s what makes us do the things we do, without it many great events throughout the history of our species wouldn’t have happened whether for the good or bad.

Without motivation would the Million Man March in Washington D.C. in 1995? ….

Can motivation be measured?

Can it be given to us (spiritual or inspirational means) or is it simply a product of our personalities through knowledge, experiences, emotions, diet or even by the varied personalities we encounter with different people in our day to day routines.

Indeed the list is endless and everyone will have their own unique viewpoint and certainly their own ways to become motivated and there are ways to help get motivated more easily but from my OWN experiences and CRITICAL THINKING and RESEARCH.

I found that motivation comes from some kind of revelation or experience, some might even call it an epiphany.

A whole list of methods can be used by us or used towards us to guide, control or sway where our motivation takes us!

Motivational Video & Getting Motivated Visually

Everyone likes a motivational video, it gives them the excuse they need to make an attempt at something they would normally procrastinate (TRUTH).

It is kind of like the old saying we want what we can’t have, you see a very good sales video will always try to motivate you to create a action, it aims for your mind, to make you take action and in the greatest respect ‘program’ the habits to entice you to do as the video commands.

Whether or not you stick to those habits is another topic but as a matter of fact motivation is actually fueled in a number of cases by a visual response, seeing proof of someone doing well is motivation, envy in some cases can motivate certain positive or negative action, seeing people suffering triggers a response etc

I call this the MOTIVATIONAL FLASHPOINT sort of like a moment of truth or a kick up the ass to get you going to where ever you want to go whether it’s a six figure salary or just a more positive outlook to life.

I believe we can all motivate ourselves and achieve a better existence just by following a few simple small steps but can lead to a huge change in everything we do.

How To Get Motivated? … Promote Something You Enjoy, Do Something You Love Doing, Build Something and share it with humanity

Like I stated before through CRITICAL THINKING and RESEARCH I have managed to identify four steps to help us stay motivated through even the toughest of times because a spanner is always likely to be thrown into the works at the least expected time!.

The 9-5: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE FOR MOTIVATION?

The 9-5: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE FOR MOTIVATION?

Motivation for Success or a Safe and Secure Alternative?

I’m going to keep this very informal as I am just going with what is on my mind and base it on my opinions whilst forming it into words and sentences, you may get angry but GOVERNMENT TEACHES US TO BE PRODUCTIVE WORKERS.

What is a 9-5.. How do YOU view the 9-5…

Do you see it as a essential part of what you deem as ‘success? Or a mandatory action in order to survive through a world driven by paper money and a throw away mentality, do you even like YOUR job…. I can imagine majority of who ever reads this will say NO and for those who said YES that’s fine in fact that brilliant because I have a question which I shall ask later on.

I understand that as a species we are a collective, we integrate and our 1960278_10203320553234266_2066095556_nsocial structure is based around interaction, we feel safer in a hive mentality(some of us) so the 9-5 can provide safety, comfort and security in a financial manner and I suppose if you F**K up the boss who belittles you can come wipe your ass for you and give you a ‘how to be a good worker review meeting’ I had a lot of those in the past.

But what if you that one individual who doesn’t want to just do a clock in-clock out and use your energy for some W****R who doesn’t even like you let alone like the job itself. What happens if everything the social structure taught you is actually not for you?

What if you have an epiphany and realize that doing something absolutely meaningless in your life (which is a flicker in the whole cosmic universal scale of things) is a total waste of time, PLUS the economical side of it all: Inflation making the money you work hard for loose value so you then have to work harder for money that’s actually getting weaker.. Retirement ages rising (at least where I live in the UK they are) etc etc etc the list goes on. But you don’t have to worry it doesn’t mean you are lazy or a bad citizen.

To understand it the best way we got to look at the root of it all or roots.

Without going into a huge history lesson, after WW2, globalization started to really take off, corporate empires would hire the masses during the rebuild of Europe and the world had plenty of work going, Corporate America was booming and there was always the boogie man called the Soviet Union for people to be made scared of so even the Media Giants could make more money and gain more control, (key to the whole scenario we are in today) people would be hired in the thousands and that would be the driving force of the recovery after the war, all sounds good.

In short the Corporation created the 9-5 lifestyle.

And it is there is nothing wrong with a 9 -5 I am not bashing people who work hard and do well in their respective field, a country needs workers and people need money, but those were different times, I think what I’m trying to say is that there was a INCENTIVE, a MOTIVATION to join the hive collective.

Nowadays we are taught from the day we enter school, how to work as part of the machine, how to think, how to act and what it takes to be a good worker.

The modern education system doesn’t reward- it tests, Exams/Punishes, Coursework/Grinds, does a degree even get you a good 9-5 it got me F – All.

The brain doesn’t respond to this it shuts down that is why most people are SCARED of anything different to your 9-5 it goes against your core programming.

Creativity is slowly sucked away and never is a child taught to actually make the money work for you, instead working for money and chasing inflated money for the next half a century is the preferred method I suppose it easier to regulate and control any bright sparks in our democratic society that way :/ and THATS MY PROBLEM, we are NOT taught to take our passions and turn them into a dream job or shall i say LIFESTYLE, that money actually is just FREEDOM UNITS. Calling someone your boss or manager is no different than a slave calling someone master or even dad or mum. By accepting this you sub-conscience accepts you are their BITCH.

Let me give you an example when i was fifteen we had to go find work experience to prepare us the mind destroying life that awaited us, so we get an idea of how to be good employees for our bosses who then have to be good employees for their bosses.

Never did they encourage or teach us to actually choose what we liked doing and to channel our passions into a type of dream job.

That’s why so many people just forget and abandon their dreams and settle for a wasted life in a company that cares more about dog food than its own staff, I have worked for S**T jobs and I can say all this from my own experience it totally sucks, I hated every moment of having to answer to someone with half my ambition and intelligence not that I am a smart person but I couldn’t give a dam about the delivery of frozen meat or tins or some nonsense.. Why the hell would I it’s boring and dull. As I left school and learned about myself I realized that this was NOT for me.

I got bored too quick and often ended up switching off from it all, I would always see the bigger picture. The fact I hated it so much was the motivation I needed to realize that there is so much more to life than just chasing after deadlines and deliveries that everyone will forget about the next day. Don’t you think in the grand scheme of things it would be more meaningful to actually create and build something serving the greater good of our species. What astounds me is that people actually settle for being some kind of suck-up and accept this mundane easy way of living through life.

That way of life scared the S**T out of me, how can I possibly aspire to my full potential when I’m helping someone else aspire to their targets and still get laid off when it suits them all that work for nothing, literally sucked for all my energy and then swept from the board like a pawn in a chess game.

The mind is like a fortress, Know yourself, Build on strength, Discipline yourself, Motivation.

My initiative totally dismissed, my flare and passion crushed by waking with no motivation and dread everyday, F**K that I will rather fail a million times loving what I do any day. Look at Colonel Sanders was rejected over one thousand times.. Dare I ask if anyone doesn’t know of KFC.. Steve Jobs failed a few times even got sacked from his own company (before apple) how many people have IPhones.

So what about the people who love their jobs, if it’s their passion and they are content, have shares in the company they are in, great perks and great incentives.. Think of this, your dreams and happiness is in the hands of your boss, moment’s notice you could be told to come in for a ‘review’ and told YOU’RE FIRED.

You could get laid off and if you love it so much why don’t you just do it yourself and make your own non-job style business, why let some other A** HOLE dictate the level of happiness you can have. This is why I created Yes4motivation.com because a lot of people just need that extra push and information to realize what they can do.

End of the day do what you want but maybe if you feel that your job isn’t what you desire then use the fear of being stuck in a dead end job and the negatives as a positive to drive you out of that rut! Turn a negative into a positive and that is why I think a 9-5 is actually a blessing in disguise.

I hope it kind of all made sense as this is just me getting stuff out my head and into words,

Thanks for reading and if you read it all the way through I really appreciate it and hope this helps in some kind of way.
